Continuing Education Units / Professional Development Units

In order for some professionals to maintain a particular license or certification in a specific industry, they are often expected to earn continuing education “points” in their particular area of study. These points confirm that an individual has invested the time expected to remain current and educated within their field. The most commonly required units are known as Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Professional Development Units (PDUs). Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are nationally-recognized units of measuring participation for approved non-credit continuing education programs. Professional Development Units (PDUs) are used to quantify approved project management professional development activities.
